Kindra Waluk Simulation Center Manager Kindra Waluk, MSN/Ed, RN, CLNC, is a legal nurse consultant and health care educator experienced in psychiatric, critical care and emergency nursing, nursing education, and information technology. Kindra began her health care career as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in 1994, graduated from Humboldt State University in 2002 as a bachelor’s prepared Registered Nurse (RN) and completed a Master’s degree in Nursing in 2008, specializing in nursing and healthcare education. She incorporates her legal nursing expertise with her knowledge of information technology to train and validate best healthcare practices through simulated experiences in nursing, medical and allied health education. |

Brandt Ozawa Simulation Technician Brandt Ozawa is a Zoologist who has a love for things technical, puzzles, and mechanical. Combines with a background in simulation, he's learning the medical jargon and picking up on a few best practices as well as becoming intimately familiar with HBRSC's mannequins. He graduated from Humboldt State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in Zoology. He also puts his minor in Studio Art to good use as an in-house graphic artist for many of the Simulation Center's design needs. | ![]() |
